Curious as to just what each horse does? Without further ado, here are some brief descriptions of the characteristics looked for to hold a rank. Most members will live their lives as subordinates, but those who truly show their colors will be awarded a rank.
:: Lead Stallion and Mare -- The monarchs and rulers of the herd. They perform a little of every task. :: Secondary -- Second in command to leaders; often an ambassador or messenger among filling the position of leadership should the monarchs be unavailable. :: Guardian -- The advanced guard who secure the borders and keep trouble at bay. They are allowed to accept members under pending status until a leader can see to them. :: Warleader -- Noted for battle skills and stubbornness in the fight. They are sought for strength, and to train and lead others in the event of battle. :: Sentinels -- The watchers that prowls the perimeter for intruders or possible newcomers, upon which they will alert a Guardian, Secondary, or leader. :: Jester -- Often noted for a mellow, easy-going or fun-loving personality who can lessen or disuade feuds with a sensible tongue or comical wit. :: Messenger -- The truly fleetfooted of the herd. They relay ambassadorial messages and declarations of truce or enmity. They should be swift, strong, and sometimes keen toward espionage. :: Foal Watcher -- Assigned only when there are young ones present.
